八仙过海

Food

Was in Telok Blangah Rise vicinity wanting to eat something else, but end up eating this Wanton Mee.  Wanted to take picture of the stall, but paiseh to do it.  This bowl of Wanton Mee cost $4, with 3 wanton, 3 fried wanton, char siew and some chicken.  Usually if i eat Wanton Mee, depends on mood, sometimes i will tell them no char siew, wanton only. This round, i did not did that, and 1 bite of the char siew, i loves it, it was so nice.

Recently, i have been addicted in eating this 星洲米粉 from the zi char stall.  But this stall at Bukit Batok ($5) is a bit pricey than the other stall, usually ($4) that i eat.

Saw this big dog at a Jewellery Shop.  There's a little girl playing with her and i was kpo and ask the mummy who's around that the little girl not afraid of big big dog.  Then a staff of the Jewellery Shop was mentioning that lots of kids loves the dog and even lie on the dog.  The dog is also quite friendly.  The dog has been with the owner since 10 months old and at that time, the dog was quite small and now it has grown big.

It so happen i saw this cat sleeping at a basket and took picture of it.  Heard that this cat has slept in this basket quite often.

Sweet and Sour Sticky Ribs

Saw from Phong Hong blog, her Sweet & Sour Sticky Ribs, i was tempted by it and bought $4 of pork ribs and did it. This is a very nice dish.  Thanks to Phong Hong for the recipe.

I still have a piece of Salmon fish bought sometimes ago in the fridge, decided to use the recipe for the Sweet & Sour Sticky Ribs to do with the piece of fish.

Wedding Dinner @ Marriot Hotel (31st Aug 2014)

Attended a Wedding Dinner @ Marriot Hotel on 31st August 2014. A nine course dinner was served.  Dinner starts at around 8pm.  Below are the foods that is served.

Combination of Deluxe Appetizer - Deep-Fried Mushroom stuffed with Shrimp Paste, Prawn Salad, Spicy Jelly Fish, Abalone Clam in Thai Style & Roasted Duck

Braised Shark's Fin with Crabmeat and Shredded Fish Maw

Sauteed Scallop and Squids with Celery and Sweet Peas in XO Sauce

Stir fried Prawn in Tomato sauce accompanied by Deep-fried Crab Roll

Braised Sea Cucumber and Beancurd Sheet with Spinach

Steamed Live Garoupa with Mandarin Peel in Black Bean Sauce

Wan Hao Signature Roasted Crispy Chicken

Stewed Ee-fu Noodles with Crabmeat, Straw Mushrooms and Chives

Sweetened Red Bean Cream with Glutinous Black Sesame Dumpling, Lily Bulbs and Lotus Seeds

三姑 Home Cooked Meal

My 小姑 birthday was on 7th Sept, wanted to get her a Birthday cake, but she instructed me not to get as before that, her friends has got her a big Birthday cake and they didn't finish the cake and she brought the remaining cake back and it's in the fridge.  If i were to buy one more cake, i have to bring it home, in the end, i bought a small slice of cake for her.

As usual, the following dishes are cooked by 三姑.
