Saw from SK blog, he blog about Baked Kit Kat, so far, i have not seen in Fairprice supermarket or Cold Storage.  Since i was in the vicinity of Isetan Supermarket at Westgate, i thought i will go and take a look and i found it.

Saw in Lina blog, she blog about A New Favourite Drink, saw it in Isetan Supermarket, so bought a packet, Mocha Flavoured Soya Milk back.

Price that i bought the packet of drink.  The 1st time, i drank at room temperature, the 2nd time, i drank after chilling the packet in the fridge in which i prefer drinking after chilling.

Saw this big dog at a Jewellery Shop.  There's a little girl playing with her and i was kpo and ask the mummy who's around that the little girl not afraid of big big dog.  Then a staff of the Jewellery Shop was mentioning that lots of kids loves the dog and even lie on the dog.  The dog is also quite friendly.  The dog has been with the owner since 10 months old and at that time, the dog was quite small and now it has grown big.

It so happen i saw this cat sleeping at a basket and took picture of it.  Heard that this cat has slept in this basket quite often.

Wall Painting

I came across this wall painting when going to Kampong Glam for the Ramadhan Bazaar, makes me think of Nick as he ever ask me about wall painting in Singapore.

Shoe

Lina blog about her Shoe Shopping few days back and i commented that i just bought a pair of shoe as my old one gonna wore out, she reply ask me to blog about it, there it goes.

In the end, i bought this pair, usual pair is S$69.90, but there's a 15% discount, so i paid S$59.41 for it.  This pair of shoe is for my weekend use, so i will prefer a pair of comfy shoe.

Multi-function Electric Lunch Box

This is not a paid post.

I came across this Multi-functions Electric Lunch Box sometimes ago, but that time, saw quite a number of people surrounding the promoter and also some ladies buying it, but  i walk off due to crowds.  This round, i came across it again, so due to my spoilt eye, i brought one back at S$50.  I bought it as i find that quite handy and easy to carry around, it can be used to cook rice, steam soup, steam foods, etc.

All Saints Memorial Chapel

My aunty, who has passed away last month, her ushes was place at All Saints Memorial Chapel.  Since Vesak Day is a Public Holiday, went to All Saints Memorial Chapel.

Carelessness

I top up my ez-link card using the POSBank ATM on Fri.  Guess i didn't realised that i forgot to take my ez-link card after completing the transaction.

The next day, which is yesterday, when i board the bus, i realise that the ez-link (i put the card in a card case with some name card in it) is not with me. Luckily i have a spare card with me.  Heart pain as the value inside the card is S$30+..

Passing on

I receive news on Friday (11th April) evening, that my Aunty (my mom's cousin) has gone home to be with the Lord that day.   It came as a shock to me, i was asking myself, how could that be.  When i told my mom about it, she was asking me what had happen to her, i told her i did not know about it. My mum called my relative about it, but as at that time, they were busy, so only talk for a little while.

That night, i had a hard time sleeping and did not sleep well.

The last time i saw my Aunty was during Chinese New Year Day 1 when visiting her mom (my Grandaunt), that time, she didn't looks good, i ask her about it and she replied me she's unwell, but didn't elaborate about it.  

On Saturday (12th April), my mom and i went down to the wake, from her Sister-in-law, we learnt that she was diagnosed with colon cancer (Stage 4) since last October, and had asked her family members not to tell any of the relatives as she does not want anyone to worry about it and also not to trouble anyone to visit her.

Today (14th April) is her funeral, i will be attending it.  May she Rest- in-Peace.

Reservoir Run (8th Dec 2013)

Friend and his nephew and niece took part in the 6.2km Reservoir Run which is near my house, so went down to support my friend.

Jog

It has been my habit to jog on either Sat or Sun morning at the reservoir near my house depending on the weather, but mostly it will be Sat unless it rain, then i go on Sun. The reservoir is a round circle, one side is housing estates and the other side, there are industrial area.

Normally those joggers that i met are familiar, some of them if they are friendly and they smile or said good morning, i will smile back or greet them back too.

Last Sat (9th Nov), as usual, i went for my jog and saw a malay lady, she struck up a conversation with me, so i start talking to her.  She mention that she works on alt Sat and on Sat, normally she will jog to work.  So i ask her, if she jog to work, she will sweat, she reply that she bring along a towel and that sat is half day.  After that we lost touch as for me, i'm not in a hurry, so i took my own sweet time to jog whereby she jog faster.  Before that she mention that hope to bump again another time.  I also hope to bump into her again.

Chilli Crab Noodles

Suituapui was mentioning about this Chilli Crab Noodles in his blog, went to have a look at Cold Storage and saw it.  At first i was thinking of buying a packet and grab a packet, but after walking a round, i decided against buying it as i not into instant noodle, unless once in a blue moon, craving for it.

Singapore Turf Club (20th April 2013)

This is the 2nd time that i went to the Turf Club, not to bet on horses, which i do not know how to bet, but to watch getai.  The first time i went there to watch was last year on 29th Dec. That time admission to the Turf Club is $5 if pay by EZ Card/Cash Card, $6 if pay by cash. But  to watch the getai is free and admission is only after 5.30pm and those with kids under 12 will only be admitted after 6pm as Horse Racing ends at 6.15pm (That's what i heard when i went there the first time last year). 

This round, i reached at around 5.20pm, getai starts at 7pm,  and was told that can go in already.  And i can also go loitering around the place to look see look see.

Was curious how come never see any horses, went to ask the staff, was told that day it's Malaysia horses, so can only watch the horses on the TV provided there.  Singapore horses run on Friday and Sunday.

Wound Dressing (10th March 2013)

Sun, went back to the clinic as instructed by the doctor for dressing, the doctor was asking the other day when i went to see the doctor if i wanted to do the dressing myself or go back for dressing.  I was thinking, why not go back to the clinic for dressing and also to let the doctor see how's the wound before deciding what's the next step.  My wound seem ok, so was given the above to do the dressing myself.  But was told not to take seafood.

Yesterday, i went to the pharmacy thought of buying the Polybamycin Oint as a stock up just in case my wound have not dry up and that the Polybamycin Oint has finish, but was told i need to see a doctor to get hold of this.

Swollen Toe (8th Mar 2013)

My toe has been swollen for few days and torturing when i start walking and i could feel the pain whenever i walk.  At first i thought of letting it heal by itself till this morning i could not stand it anymore that i went to the doctor.  He was saiding i should have come earlier and not wait till it turns so swollen that i come.  He cut the swollen part and let the water flows out from it and i was told this sun to go back for dressing.  Looks like temporary, i can only stay at home and eat, sleep, surf net.

22nd Jan 2013

Yesterday (22nd Jan 2013), when i open facebook, i was shocked and sad to see news that one of the Getai host cum singer Zhong Yao Nan has passed away at the age of 52. Understand that his passing time is around 3.49am in hospital.  I couldn't believe it as the last time i saw him is on 1st Jan 2013 where he sang at Bt Batok.  He seem all right at that time. 

Saw from newspaper that he passed away due to Heart Attack and left behind his wife who is a housewife and 3 daughters aged 20, 18 and 16 who is still schooling.

Like a saying, 今日不知明日事,  nobody knows what will happen tomorrow.
