Subaru Challenge ~ The Asian Face-Off (Day 4 - 11th November 2014)

I was there on the 4th day of the challenge, my purpose of going there is to see whose the winner for this year Subaru Challenge.

When i reach there, Kacang and one-armed runner Adam Kamis was still in the challenge.

It was a rainy day on that day

Mr Desmond Ho, who has been in the challenge for the 11th time, and this is the last time, he will be at the challenge, being looked on by Marshalls & Uncle Paul.

Adam Kamis being photographed/interviewed after he drop out of the challenge.  On the right is his mum.  On the left is a contestant from Cambodia.  I manage to chat with him.  He was telling me he was in the challenge for 28 hours, during the every 6 hours break, he eat 3 bananas which makes him hungry the next day.

Again, i played in the public challenge and stand for 1 1/2 hour and got myself a screen wiper, can use it to wipe my computer at home.

When i left at around 9.30pm, there's still 5 contestants who's still there, 4 Singaporean and 1 Malaysian.

This year, the winner is 49-year-old Mr G Jaishanker, whose timing is 82 hours & 16 minutes & 58 seconds.

Subaru Challenge is back for the 13th year at Ngee Ann Civil Plaza.  Started at 1pm on 8th November.

Contestants have to place their palms on the car, the lady/guy whose hand is placed there the longest get to win a Subaru car.

Since i was there, i went to take part in the public challenge and got myself a bear, which means i have to stand there and place my palm in the car for 2 hours.

Winner of Subaru Challenge 2011 - Mr Chong Kait Chi

I would like to dedicated this post to Mr Chong Kait Chi, the winner of  2011 Subaru Challenge ~ The Asian Face-Off.

I got to know him during the recent Subaru Challenge 2014 held in Ngee Ann Civil Plaza.  A very friendly guy, too bad didn't take picture with him.

MediaCorp Subaru Challenge ~ The Asian Face-Off (26th Oct 2013)

The yearly MediaCorp Subaru Challenge ~ The Asian Face-Off is back, this is the 12th year. Went down Ngee Ann City to have a look.

Saw some photographer taking picture of the Vietnam Team  , so i took a picture of them too (with permission).

Car no. 1, 2 and 3 (10 regional contestants in car no. 3 ), are for regional contestants (Total is 90 regional contestants).

Total, there are 10 cars and 400 contestants (40 contestants to each car)

Public Challenge, this year they have a booth for Lost Paws and i'm not too sure what's the prize for the Lost Paws booth if the public took part in the challenge. As in previous year, they have 2 cars in the Subaru booth but this year they only have 1 car there for Public Challenge.

I took part in the Subaru booth public challenge and stand for 2 hours and got a bear and a notebook.

Subaru Challenge ~ The Asian Face Off ~ (27th Oct 2012)

This is the 11th year that the Subaru Challenge is going on, total participants is 400 peoples and 10 each from China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Phillippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. The rest of the participants are from Singapore.  The challenge starts at 1pm on 27th Oct.
