Chinese New Year decorations at Aeon Bukit Indah (6th Feb 2014)

Went JB on the 7th day of Lunar New Year to find Cat.  Took CW3 from Jurong East Interchange which goes by Tuas Checkpoint and alight at Bukit Indah which is near to Cat place.

I didn't arrange the time with Cat and told her i will call her when i reach JB.  So when i reach Bukit Indah, i thought i will walk one round in the shopping mall to see the Chinese New Year decorations before i call her.

Below are the Chinese New Year decoration at Aeon Bukit Indah. 

River Hong Bao (2nd Feb 2014)

On the 3rd day of CNY, after visiting my Uncle (my mum brother), was at the River Hong Bao.  Maybe it's Sun, so it was extremely crowded.

Chinese New Year Day 2 (1st Feb 2014)

As usual, every year on the 2nd day of CNY, will be at my 3rd aunty house.  Will had dinner at my 3rd aunty place and below are the foods that she had cooked.

Heard my 3rd aunty mention that she used fish paste and prawns wrap in bean curd sheet and pan fry it.

Chinese New Year Day 1 (31st Jan 2014)

As usual, on the first day of CNY, will gather at my Uncle (My father eldest brother) place for lunch.

My cousin saw that the cupcake is cute, so few of us were taking picture of it, and the cupcake is yummy also.

Every year, my Uncle will cater foods from outside as our family members is big.

After the visiting at my Uncle place, was at a relative's (My mum side) place.

My this relative, she's very good at cooking, and every year during Chinese New Year, she will cook foods 

to serve the guests. Had above curry chicken cooked by her for dinner.

Prawn Fritter/Ngoh Hiang/Bak Kwa/Hong Kong Style Swiss Chicken Wings

I wanted to try out doing prawn fritter, but mine is a failure as it turn out as above, recipe from Here.

Bought a packet of 276g minced meat from the supermarket. Try making ngoh hiang with 150g minced meat, shredded carrot, prawns and water chestnut.  Made 8 mini ngoh hiang, but fry only 4 of it. The reminding 4 of it, frozen it in the freezer for other days.

I have bookmark this Hong Kong Style Swiss Chicken Wings from Sonia blog.  Bought mid-wings from the supermarket and did it.
