Clementi C326 Cell-group Pre-X'mas Party (14th Dec 2013)

I was invited by a friend to attend her Cell-Group Pre-X'mas Party.  Below are what we had :

Prawn Fritters

I have been seeing in Suituapui blog about the prawn fritters he eat and prawn fritters is one of my favourite foods.  There's this stall at one of the coffeeshop in West Coast that sell it.  How can i give it a miss.

The prawn fritters here is sold at 2 for S$1.20

When Angeline whatsapp me on 23rd Dec 2013 that she have send out the parcel, i'm on the lookout as i wanna take note on how long it takes to reach.  When i didn't receive it on Monday (6th Jan 2014), i whatsapp Angeline that i'm worried about it as it's already two weeks (was worried that it might be lost in the mail).  Thank God i receive it yesterday (7th Jan 2014).

A question to ask, i am curious about the postage rate in Malaysia, how do they go about charging the rates for the postage as i saw that SK sent, it's RM1.20, Hayley sent, it's RM1.10, and 小影 sent, it's RM3.60, so much difference?

Lunch @ Bukit Timah Food Centre (4th Jan 2014)

I was back at Bukit Timah Food Centre last Sat for lunch as i'm craving for Prawn Mee.

Patron my friend stall, she and her hubby set up a stall at Bukit Timah Food Centre, selling Prawns Mee, Lor Mee, Fried Kway Teow, etc.

Prawn Kway Teow Mee at  S$3.50, usually i will opt out beansprouts if i eat with kway teow, mee etc as i prefer to eat beansprouts on it's own.

The chilli sauce is fried either by her or her hubby

Next to her stall is a stall selling fish soup, which i find not bad also, S$4.00.

There's this coffee stall which has Q, guess the coffee at this stall is better than other stall, so bought coffee from this stall.

Dinner @ Bt Timah Food Centre (2nd Jan 2014)

Friend and i was at Bukit Timah Food Centre wanting to eat our favourite stingray from the stall that we usually patron, but the stall was not open, and we were discussing what to eat when we saw another stall selling stingray so we decided to give it a try.

We order a small stingray, S$10, in which we find that it's quite dry

Mixed Vegetable, S$8, in which we find quite expensive

White Rice, S$0.50 - Usually we will order Fried Rice, but as we're going McDonald for another round as my friend collecting the Happy Meal toy, so we ordered white rice.

The lady gave us one of us to share in which i find not enough so ask for another one.

The total came up to S$19 in which we find ex. as the other stall which we usually patron is around this price and usually we will order the same item which is stingray, mixed vegetable and fried rice.

Roasted Chicken Leg

Most of the time, if i eat Roasted Chicken, it will be bought from outside and i hardly roasted it myself.  When i saw Rosemary & Lemon Roasted Chicken from Angeline blog, i was thinking, why not i roast it myself this round. So bought chicken leg instead of whole chicken to do it. With recipe from Yee Ling blog. Clearing stuffs from the fridge, i put whatever i can find from the fridge, which is carrot, mushroom, egg.

Sarawak Noodle

Came across this Sarawak Noodle stall in a coffee shop in Jurong West and thought of trying it out, so order a bowl of Kolo Mee to try it out.

Kolo Mee at S$3.50, in which i heard from the lady selling it mention that the Kolo Mee is from Sarawak.
